Product description

There’s only one Naked. And once you go Naked, you’ll never go back. Introducing Naked Ultimate Basics—the matte eyeshadow palette you’ve been begging for. We loaded this sleek square case with 12 ALL-NEW, must-have neutrals.

These are the matte shades UD junkies keep requesting time and time again. Every single one is not only new, but also exclusive to this palette—and completely different from the shades in Naked Basics and Naked2 Basics. Naked Ultimate Basics features a true range of neutral mattes, from cool to warm—all with a little edge that makes them Naked. Create contoured all-matte looks, or pair these neutrals with your favorite bold UD shades.

The shades in Naked Ultimate Basics are neutral enough for everything from cool skin tones to olive complexions to darker skin. If you’ve never tried our matte shadows, you’ll be blown away by how different they are. Other mattes can be “skippy,” uneven on application or difficult to blend. But EVERY shade in Naked Ultimate Basics features our proprietary Pigment Infusion System™, which gives the formula its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability. Achieve the perfect application every time for a matte look that radiates.

Shades included: Blow (light nude demi-matte), Nudie (soft pink-nude matte), Commando (light taupe-brown matte), Tempted (pale brown matte), Instinct (medium pink-taupe matte), Lethal (reddish brown matte), Pre-Game (pale yellow matte), Extra Bitter (burnt orange matte), Faith (medium warm brown matte), Lockout (rich neutral brown matte), Magnet (smoky gray matte) and Blackjack (warm black matte).

Pro Tips

Use the Blending Brush for foolproof, seamless blending. Use the Smudger Brush to smudge color with precision or smoke out the lash line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Keeps Getting Better Just when I think UD can't make anything else I need/want they slam another palette on the market...this does not disappoint. One shimmery light shade amongst many matte shades & I once again was hooked. I received mine and as per usual UD fashion I'm obsessed. Great colors, coverage and does anyone use anything else. I also received setting spray trial and fireball sample w my purchase so bonus bonus for me! I knew I would love this so also ordered one for my daughter for her 16th birthday coming soon..can't wait to see her face....keep the beauty coming as I'll be a JUNKIE FOR LIFE! Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept, but just not for me :( I was so excited to have a 12 shade matte pallet. Then I received it. First it is 11 matte one shimmer. I'm medium to light with yellow undertones and there were too many light shades that looked pasty on me. I was glad it had some colors as opposed to the smaller Naked Basic shadow pallets. There was only 1 shade I loved "extra bitter" but 1 shade didn't justify the pallet for me. I had a hard time blending out blackjack, and would rather have had blackout in the pallet, a true black. I guess I'll keep traveling with more than 1 pallet to do an all matte look. Besides, as pretty as the packaging is...and it is very is rather large for travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get Naked! I often buy UD palettes without thinking and love every single one of them. However, I was hesitant about this palette because I don't wear many neutral shadows, since I love a vibrant heavily made up eye. So, I finally caved and the Ultimate Basics has quickly become my go to, especially during the work week. The colors are creamy, easy to apply, and great texture. There is no fallout to speak of and I use all the colors. This is a beautiful product and is perfect for a gift too. Even the most experienced makeup junkie will find a good use for this, just like a makeup novice. You will jot be disappointed...get your Naked on!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth shadows I like this palette. I think that all the shades are very smooth. Some you have to build quite a bit. Pre game and nudie do not show up on my skin. I use them on the upper half of my lid and brow bone area to help with a smooth transition since you can't really see them at all. The darker shades you don't have to build to get pigment. These all apply so nicely. Some of the top row you have to build a little to get full pigment. This is while using Urban Decay Primer Potion. They are all beautiful, unique neutral shades. I would repurchase because none of these shadows look chalky on the lid. It's like if the shadows are a second skin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best palettes ever! It was like love at first sight. The packaging was beautiful, the shades are beautiful. I love all of the colors, there isn't a lot of fly away and the texture of the shades isn't dry it's very creamy and smooth and I'm really happy with that. And I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that it comes when a brush instead of those little swipey, foam brushes ( I don't know what they're called) I really like the small side of the brush it's really good for under eye. However not a fan of the bigger side. Just not a fan. But OVERALL it is amazing and I 100% recommend it to makeup lovers out there. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UD Does it AGAIN! This palette is absolutely AMAZING! Urban Decay REALLY hit it out of the park with this one! The color pay off is unlike any other line out there.A lot of mattes I've tried in the past end up looking chalky. These are so silky and go on smooth! This palette is so versatile. You can use it to have a more natural look for day time. Also can be used for smokey eye. The brush it comes with is great because one end is a smudge brush. This makes it perfect to wear some of the darker shades as eye liner. The possibilities really are endless with this palette! WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you UD for making high quality products that deliver. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Palette! I love this palette and how all the shades, excluding Blow, are matte. While Blow isn't matte, it is a gorgeous color that is bright and pigmented; it acts as a perfect highlight. The rest of the colors are just as beautiful and are very pigmented. The black isn't overly pigmented in my opinion but that allows for it to be blended more easily. My favorite colors in the palette are: Extra Bitter, a burnt orange color, and Lethal, a deep plum with the oh-so slightest hint of shimmer. These are stand out colors that I wouldn't have considered using before but they are so beautiful that I want to create looks around them. Also, the large mirror is a huge plus! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Something different-good for everyday or work looks I pre-ordered this for myself and my college aged daughter as we love all the UD pallets. I use mine as I find a lot of these matte shades ( great texture btw ) useful for work and everyday looks where sometimes I felt the shimmers were too much. My daughter however just didn't get excited about hers the colors were too neutral I think. Still, I think this adds some good options to other pallets in the UD collections but like other reviews have said a lot of the shades are almost too subtle to see or use. I found it worth while but I would just look closely at the colors before ordering . The quality is great as always and I love the size, brush and mirror!!
