We’ve shared a bold heat-proof tutorial here and a sunset-inspired Naked3 look here, but today Amanda Rodriguez, Artist in Residence, is sharing her heat-proof complexion tips that will make your makeup last all night.
For your complexion, start off refreshing your skin with B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray (a #UDHQ favorite for reducing redness and minimizing pores). Next, pick your complexion primer. We recommend Pore Perfecting to take away some of the shine that tends to build up in summer months, or you can try Brightening & Tightening to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
For your summer foundation, try using Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation (Amanda is using Medium Light Warm) as an alternative to liquid makeup for great coverage and a lighter finish.
Now to a summer necessity - bronzer. Amanda likes to use a darker shade of Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation (she used Dark Neutral) and our Naked Flushed Double–Ended Brush for a sexy, matte touch that adds just enough dimension.
Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush in Crush is an Amanda-favorite for just the right amount of color on the cheeks, using your fingers to add Fireball Eyeshadow as a highlighter (a Product Development favorite trick). Finish off your look with your favorite shade of Revolution High-Color Lipgloss and All Nighter Setting Spray.
Amanda contoured her eyes with Naked Basics, before using Woodstock 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and Woodstock Eyeshadow for a pop of color. She finished off her eyes layering in 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion with Perversion Mascara.
Now give your beautified face a reason to last all night -
